Five way convergence

$125.00

While working through this piece, it started as just a painting calisthenic like many others. It’s important for me while painting to be constantly aware of the considerations and purity of each composition, and mark making. I aim to capture the work while at the height of creativity and purity lest contrived moves or overworked optics. I believe this work captures the brevity of stroke, purity of mark making and within a smaller size, typically more difficult than larger. It measures 9 x 9 x 1.25” and is poplar panel on repurposed maple cradle boards. Mixed media to include highlighters, crayons, oil paint and markers were utilized in the creation of this.
